Dealing with Time Zone support in Calendar and Meeting Invites

I’ve learned how to adjust meeting invite time zones by trial and error, but never really documented the options and differences in platforms. Tidbits tried various permutations for time zone support and I learned that I’ve used the floating time zone before, which isn’t supported on iOS and iPadOS.
